Plan dubbing and book voice actors

For dubbing studios, dialogue directors and recording coordinators: find voice actors who are free on the recording days, book them firmly and bill the takes without a side spreadsheet.

Free sign-up, no payment details needed.

Typical problems

  • Availability by phone

Who can come to the studio on which day is asked one by one. By the time everyone has confirmed, the schedule is out of date again.

  • Fees per take

A base fee plus takes, with surcharges for evenings or weekends: this is often recalculated in a separate spreadsheet, apart from the booking.

  • Many episodes, several languages

A series has dozens of episodes, source and target languages, and phases from translation to approval. Its status lives in different lists.

How CueFlow helps

  • Search by role and free days

Filter by trade, industry and date range. Blocked days, sick leave and busy times from connected calendars drop out of the results.

  • Profiles with voice samples

Voice actors show their trades, languages and work samples on their profile, audio files included. You listen before you ask.

  • Billing per take

Freelancers set a base fee plus an amount per take, with surcharges for Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, evenings and nights. The invoice is created from the booking.

  • Series with episodes and phases

Set up a series with its episodes, record source and target languages and track phases such as translation, casting, recording, mixing and approval in the timeline.

How it works

  1. Create the production

Set up the series or film and enter the number of episodes and the languages.

  2. Request voice actors

Ask the right people for the recording days, or hold them first, with a clear reply deadline.

  3. Session in the calendar

Confirmed sessions are in both calendars. Overlapping requests are refused.

  4. Bill

After the session the voice actor writes the invoice straight from the booking, as a PDF and an XRechnung.

Frequently asked questions

Can I book sessions that end after midnight?
Yes. Bookings take times around the clock. A session from 10 pm to 2 am ends the next day and appears exactly like that in the calendar.
How does billing per take work?
Freelancers choose “per take” as their rate type: a base fee plus an amount for each take. They set their own surcharges for weekends, public holidays, evenings and nights.
Do other studios see what I agreed with a voice actor?
No. A negotiated rate is visible only to the studio it was agreed with. Visitors who are not signed in see no prices at all.
What happens if a request is not answered?
Every request has a reply deadline. The freelancer gets a reminder one day before it runs out. When it runs out, the request expires and the time is free again.
